"The alabaster mass is cut with an algebraic infinitesimal method: the half of the half of the half until there was enough stone to be cut. The alabaster mass on the other hand is not a fragment as marble masses are but alabaster has crystalline growth inside the earth like the organic growth of truffles. Indeed the raw alabaster mass is not a cut out but is a formal organic unity that even resembles a truffle but in this large scale it evokes a heavy cloud. The cuts make it possible that the original form can be opened by torning the single elements along their cuts (this shows drastic phenomenological difference in relation to the structural work of Ulrich Rueckriem): the alabaster body show its geologic inside but also seems to be moved by a gust of wind. Such as some drawings of clouds in the wind by Leonardo da Vinci or Andrea Mantegna".
