She values thing-ness over imagery, sculptural questions of solidity, mass, volume, holes and textural pattern over pictures.
“There are no spontaneous, accidental or expressive gestures here, yet each object is powerfully human and full of handcrafted charm. Molzan balances contained and carefully orchestrated regions of apparent chaos – whole panels strewn with tangled strands of canvas or speckled all over by colourful sprays of paint – with sharply taped-off, hard-edged graphic punctuations.”
